一.  反身代名詞(反身代)的構成及用法

1.  人稱代名詞有三格: 主格,所有格,受格;

  兩代: 所有代名詞(所有代),反身代名詞(反身代)

2.所有代名詞,除了mine(我的)之外,其餘都是在所有格的後面+s而形成.

若所有格字尾是 s時,則不+s,與所有代同形,如: his(他的), its(它的)

** 所有代名詞 = 所有格 + 名詞    **  所有格(指形)後面必接名詞

 比較: 那是她的立可白.That(指代=S.)is her(所有格)white-out.(N.)

       那個立可白是她的,不是我的. That(指形)white-out(S.)is her<所有格>(x)/

hers<所有代>(0) ,not my<所有格>(x)/ mine.<所有代>(0)

       這是他的螢光筆.This(指形=S.)is his<所有格>highlighter.(N.)

       這螢光筆是他的,不是你的. This(指形)highlighter(S.)is his<所有代>(0)

                                ,not your.<所有格>(x)/ yours.<所有代>(0)

3.反身代名詞的構成是: 在第1 ,2人稱的所有格字尾+self(單數)/selves(pl.);

                       在第3人稱的受格字尾+self(單數)/selves(pl.)

例如:我自己 myself ;我們自己 ourselves ;你自己 yourself ;你們自己 yourselves

他自己 himself ;她自己 herself ;它自己 itself ;他們自己 themselves

** 用own­­­­(代/形)也可以形成介片表示”自己/自己的 ”

例如:我自己 myself = on my(所有格)own(代);

你自己 yourself  ;你們自己 yourselves = on your own

他自己 himself = on his own  ;她自己 herself = on her own

它自己 itself = on its own  ;他們自己 themselves = on their own

我們自己 ourselves = on our own  ;自己 oneself = on one’s own

4.反身代名詞的應用

(A).當句中的主詞(S.)與受詞(O.)相同時,

例1.漢克(S.)傷到了(及V.)自己(O.). Hank hurt(PT.)him.(x)/himself.(0)

例2.那個娃娃哭到睡著了.That baby cried(及V.)her(x)/herself(0)to sleep.

例3.老爹自己煮了杯咖啡.

Dad made(及V.)/fixed(及V.)him(x)/himself(0)a cup of coffee.

(B).強調句中的主詞(S.),主詞補語(S.C.)或受詞(O.)

例1.珍妮本人說出事實真相. Jenny(S.)herself(強調主詞)told the truth.   è

               Jenny(S.)told the truth(by)..herself./ on..her..own.

例2.我親自做生日卡給凱莉. (強調主詞)

I(S.)myself(強調主詞)made a birthday card for Kelly.   è

I(S.)made a birthday card for Kelly(by)..myself./ on..my..own.

例3.站在門口的就是安娜本人了. (強調主詞補語 = S.C.)

It(S.)is Anna(主補)herself(強調主補)standing at the door.

例4.他們遇見了麥克本尊. (強調受詞) They met(及V.)Michael(O.)himself. (強調受詞)

例5.老媽在和店東本人說話. (強調受詞)

Mom is talking(不及V.)to(介)the shopkeeper(O.)himself./herself. (強調受詞)

(C).oneself在句尾時,除了親自的意思之外,還有all by oneself (強調單獨的意思)

例1.你自己(單獨)打掃廚房和浴廁的嗎?  Did you clean the kitchen and the

  bathroom by..yourself?/ all..by..yourself?/ on..your..own?

例2.女孩兒們,別獨自一人走在暗處.

Girls, don’t walk in the dark by..yourself./ all..by..yourself.

5.反身代的常見慣用語

例1.不要拘束. Make yourself/yourselves at home.

例2.請自己取用. Please help yourself to the food./ drinks.

例3.好好的享用吧. Enjoy yourself./ yourselves.

例4.自己洗澎澎 wash..oneself = take..a..bath..by..oneself

例5.自己吃東西 feed oneself

例6.擔心 worry oneself

例7.好好照顧自己.(多保重) Take a good care of yourself.

例8.我從會議中告退. (I)Excuse me(x)/ myself(0)at the meeting.

  比較:打擾一下. (You)Excuse me.(0)/ myself.(x)

二.  dozen(打)/hundred(百)/thousand(千),前面有數詞或many/several …,字尾不+s,而是在後面可數N.的字尾+s/es;若接不可數N.,則在數量詞的後面+s/es

例1.一打手套 a/one dozen of gloves(pl.)

例2.兩打鴨蛋 two dozens of duck eggs(pl. )

例3.五百公斤的奶粉 five hundreds kilograms/kilos/kg of milk powder(不可數)

例4.三百隻老鼠 three hundreds mice(pl.)                       

例5.兩萬(20,000)磅牛排 twenty thousands pounds(數量詞)of steak(不可數)

例6.幾打原子筆 several dozens of ballpoint pens(pl.)

例7.許多打自動鉛筆 many dozens of mechanical pencils(pl.)

三.  dozen/hundred/thousand前面沒有數詞,要表示幾打(幾十)/幾百/幾千時

寫成dozens/hundreds/thousands(pl.)+of+可數N.(pl.)/ 數量詞(pl.)

例1.幾打(十)個乒乓球 dozens of ping-pong balls(pl.)

例2.數百個家庭 hundreds of families(pl.)

例3.數千個人/跑者 thousands of peoples(pl.)/ runners(pl.)

例4.數萬隻鴿子 tens of thousands of doves(pl.)/ pigeons(pl.)

例5.數十萬隻企鵝 hundreds of thousands of penguins(pl.)

例6.數百瓶汽水/礦泉水 hundreds of bottles(數量詞,pl.)of

pop..soda(不可數)/ mineral..water(不可數)

例7.數萬磅的魚肉/雞肉tens of thousands of pounds(數量詞,pl.)of

fish(不可數)/chicken(不可數)

  例8.幾罐果醬 several jars(數量詞,pl.)of jam(不可數)

四.片語

1.公園路25號3樓 3F(floor)25 Park Road(Rd.)

2.住在黃金街 live in/on Gold Street(St.)

3.大(主要)街/馬路 main street/ road   4.繁忙的街道/馬路 busy street/ road

5.火車站 train/railway station        6.深夜 late at night
