一. too與 so 的用法
too與so
都有”也…”的意思,且前後兩句皆為肯定句,但so的後面要接倒裝句,句型如下:
S.+ V.+ ,and/ .(And) + S´.+ be/ 助V./ 語助V.+ ,too. è
S.+ V.+ ,and/ .(And) + so+ be/ 助V./ 語助V.+ S´.
<倒裝句>
1.句中有V-be時:
例1.茱莉亞很害羞,朱利安也是. Julia is very shy ,and/ .(And) Julian is ,too.
Julia is very shy ,and/ .(And) so is Julian.
例2.他們以前很吵,我們現在也是. They were very noisy before
,and/ .(And)
we..are..now..,too. // so..are..we..now.
例3.我在看現場的秀,許多粉絲也是. I’m watching
the live
show ,and/
.(And)
many..fans..are..,too. // so..are..many..fans.
例4.艾瑪是社團的領導人,史考特也是. Emma was a club leader ,and/ .And

2.句中有一般V.時:

二. not…either
與 neither (=not+either)的用法
not…either與neither都有”也不…”的意思,且前後兩句皆為否定句,
但neither的後面,要接倒裝句,句型如下:
S.+ V.<否定>+ ,and/ .(And)+ S´.+ be/ 助V./ 語助V.+ not<否定>+,either è
S.+ V.<否定>+ ,and/ .(And)+ neither<否定>+
be/ 助V./ 語助V.+ S´.
<倒裝句>
1.句中有V-be時:
例1.維克不怕鬼,尼克也是.Vick
